The website is now online but may appear and disappear over coming days as its still under construction and the budget fits under a shot glass. Be warned, I’ve been to a lot of gigs in my time and this is going to be a good one. Good gigs are never organised in time and things always happen a little bit behind schedule, the website is proof of that already. The tickets are out onsale, the bands are booked and ready to go. Keep an eye over the next few days and watch it all evolve. You’re going to enjoy this…..

Ah well, after a week of anxiety, troubling whether to cancel the event or not, we decided not to bottle it and progress as planned. Certainly the ambition was there, and there were extremely excellent and heroic performances from artists, crew and organisers alike - in the most testing of adverse conditions. Unfortunately the manifest effect of the weather was to ensure delayed performance times etc - frustrating for performers and audience alike. To anyone who attended or performed organised or supported, we are really grateful for your support and can only apologise if the rain undermined your enjoyment or perspective. The only Information I can confirm in advance is that MDK Cartel are playing 10 – 11pm and then all the dj’s.

Rootsville Festival is all systems go! The Marquees are up, the rain WILL NOT STOP US and everything is ready. It all starts at Midday on Saturday 30th June. See you there from Midday onwards. Bring your mad hat, this is going to be a good one…..
